Welcome to our weekly newsletter.  
 

At our united service this coming Sunday, the gospel reading from Matthew will tell us about Jesus teaching his disciples this wonderful truth: "where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20).   Hopefully we will have more than two or three at our united service but the importance of this truth will still apply to this and all sorts of different Christian gatherings.  That as we gather, the dynamic presence of Jesus is with us, moving us onward with fresh hope and vision.  This should surely inspire us to gather not only for worship on a Sunday but also for fellowship at different times and in different ways.  It should inspire us in our home groups, in praying together, and in coming together to serve others in Christ's name.  Let us hope and pray our understanding of the wonder and privilege of gathering in Jesus' name may deepen, as we seek to act in his name in our parishes and beyond.

West Wratting Church will be co-hosting this united service.  The charity chosen for the collection is  East Anglia Air Ambulance, which provides  advanced clinical care 24 hours, 365 days a year, to the most seriously ill and injured people in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk by air.  As Cambridge Airport is closing, they urgently need donations to build a new base so they can keep saving lives.  For more information, here is the link: www.eaaa.org.uk.
